Thousands of displaced children in Yobe have no access to books or safe learning spaces. You can change that today. This ongoing project delivers 3 mobile libraries directly into IDP camps, giving children books, literacy support, and hope. By bringing learning to them, we restore education, spark curiosity, and help children rebuild their future despite displacement.
Children in Yobe's IDP camps are losing their future to conflict and displacement. Many have been out of school for years with no books or structured learning. This ongoing crisis increases risks of child labor, exploitation, and poverty. Without urgent intervention, an entire generation may grow up without basic education or opportunities.
We are already delivering change-and scaling it. This project deploys 3 mobile libraries filled with books and learning tools into IDP camps. Trained facilitators run reading sessions and safe learning activities. The mobile model ensures consistent access, reaching more children and adapting to camp conditions while rebuilding literacy and confidence.
Your support creates lasting change. Children gain literacy, confidence, and pathways back to school. Over time, this reduces vulnerability, improves mental well-being, and breaks cycles of poverty. Educated, empowered children can rebuild their communities and become future leaders, transforming crisis into opportunity.
