Dear friends and supporters,
I’m grateful to share with you this report to update you on how is going this campaign to raise funds to invest 45 marginalized women in modern sewing.
So far, your generous support has helped us raise over $3,142.4. This amount has kept the project running by providing the basic training for the 45 women and girls from the marginalised communities in Musanze despite still being short in terms of sewing machines. In fact, the raised funds has helped us acquire only three additional sewing machines which makes it a total to 13 while we need 45. It is still a long way to go but we're grateful to your continuous support without which this report would be talking about something else.
As previously reported, with the acquisition of some additional input for the project, women started sewing for the market. For this, the organization has conducted market assessment to help women understand the required products. So far, four local markets have been identified as potential base for their business. Most of these markets are bi-weekly markets. This allows women to be able to attend them and still work in workshop.
Dear friends and supporters, seeing how you’re always around to support us, give us a living hope for future of this project
Once more thank you very much for your usual support
