With your continued support, young tailors are beginning to access the resources they need to build sustainable livelihoods and escape unemployment.
This project will provide 100 brand new sewing machines and startup fabric materials to support 100 young unemployed female tailors to establish their own tailoring businesses for employment and income generation.
These young women are skilled and qualified, but due to high unemployment rates in Uganda and limited access to startup capital and equipment, many have been unable to put their training into practice or start their own businesses.
Through this initiative, we aim to help them move from skills training into real income-generating work, strengthening household incomes and building long-term economic independence.
Your support can help turn their skills into opportunity and their potential into sustainable livelihoods.
