By Zachery Onyango | Project Leader
Thanks to your generosity, 10 young female tailors have received brand-new sewing machines and start-up fabrics to begin their own small tailoring businesses.
For many of these young women, this support marks the first step toward permanent and self-sustaining employment. With their new machines, they can now earn an income, support their families, and lift their households out of poverty.
Our goal is to empower 100 young women in total — each with a new sewing machine and materials to start their journey toward financial independence.
Sylvia, one of our beneficiaries, shared how life-changing this has been for her. With her new sewing machine, she now makes school uniforms and dresses for her community. Her income not only sustains her needs but also gives her the confidence to dream bigger.
Your continued support is helping transform lives, one stitch at a time. Thank you for believing in the power of opportunity and dignity through work.
