Because of your support, our 10 young women who received brand-new sewing machines and start-up fabrics to launched their own small tailoring businesses. What may seem like a simple gift has become a powerful tool for change.
For many of these young women, this marks their first step toward stable, self-sustaining employment. With their new machines, they are now able to earn an income, support their families, and begin lifting their households out of poverty.
Our goal is to empower 100 young women in total — equipping each with a sewing machine and the materials needed to start their journey toward financial independence.
Sylvia, one of the beneficiaries, shared how life-changing this opportunity has been. With her new sewing machine, she now makes school uniforms and dresses for her community. Her earnings not only meet her daily needs but also give her renewed confidence and hope for a brighter future.
