It's Graduation For The Women of Africa

Hello,

On the 19th July 2022 (one year ago) we welcomed 12 volunteers and wit their helping hands and your AMAZING donations we got to work opening up our very first Women Only skills center in the heart of a struggling township in South Africa.

Your donations allowed us to clear out an old room, re-paint it, purchase industrial professional sewing machines as well as fund 6 dometic machines. We also used the donations to fund the rent and salary of a teacher for 12 months.

What a great success as we welcomed 10 women to our first program, they had never used a sewing machine or needle and thread before but we took them through hand sewing, making bags, clothing, cushions and much more and now the first 3 women have just passed their final exam and graduated and the others will soon follow next month.

This means it’s time to launch our next class but we urgently need to raise $30,000 to be able to fund 20 women for the one year course ahead. We currently only have $458.50 left and so we appeal for you help

Every share of our story, every penny donated goes a long way towards our target and with your help we will end poverty, hunger and all global issues simply by giving poor communities a lifeline to help themselves. What can be more sustainable than this? Thank you for being apart of our charity and supporting us and it’s not always about donations there are many ways you can help so please do keep in touch with us, we love to hear from you! Until next time, thank you for helping us!
