Women Lack Family Planning Information Access

By Joy O. Etubi | Project Leader

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for your donation to provide sex education for rural women. Your support shows your commitment to helping women make informed choices about their families and health. However, we must share that the amount raised so far is not enough to begin our educational sessions in any village.

Currently, women in these rural communities continue to have more children than they can support, without understanding how to prevent pregnancy. They lack basic information about their bodies and have no access to confidential advice about family planning. This situation remains unchanged while we wait for additional support to begin our work.

Our program is prepared to address this need directly. We have trained female health workers who can conduct respectful, women-only sessions in local languages. We have developed clear visual materials that work even for women who cannot read. What we lack are the resources to travel to these remote villages, provide educational materials, and supply basic protection methods.

The consequences of this delay are serious. Every month that passes means more women face unplanned pregnancies, putting additional strain on families already struggling to provide food and care for their children.

We are asking for your continued support to make this project possible. Your contribution will help bring vital information to women who currently have no access to family planning education. Even a small donation can help us reach one more village with information that could change lives.

Please consider sharing this project with others who believe women deserve the right to plan their families. We can help ensure that every woman has the knowledge she needs to make choices about her body and her future.

With gratitude,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
