After 12 years of working in the periphery of Rio de Janeiro, articulating key actors of the private, public and government sectors, we have understood that a key area to focus on, in addition to securing critical lands, is creating a workforce of sustainability-related services.
With that in mind, we are designing a project to mobilize young people to come to SINAL for a series of practical lessons in restoration, working on SINAL grounds - our intention is to complement aquiring these vital pieces of land for our biological corridor, and already strengthening the value chain of restoration to ensure that we can ensure its protection as seamlessly as possible.
As we structure the project, we will share updates here. Please consider sharing with friends who might be interested in helping us secure this land - we are doing our part in securing its restoration!
