Dear donors, thank you for your interest in supporting street-connected girls in Nigeria. Your concern helps provide safe spaces and positive opportunities.
Many girls living on the streets face stigma, violence, and exclusion from school and community activities. Without safe spaces or role models, they are vulnerable to exploitation, drug use, and early pregnancies.
This project will introduce skateboarding as a structured, safe activity for street girls. Participants will receive skateboards, safety gear, and training, combined with mentorship and life-skills workshops. These sessions provide recreation, guidance, and supportive peer networks, helping girls build confidence and teamwork while reducing exposure to unsafe environments.
No donations have been received yet. Additional support is needed to provide equipment, train mentors, and run workshops. With backing, this program can help street-connected girls transition to education, vocational opportunities, and safer, healthier lives.
With regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
