Sisterhood Agenda has recently set up an administrative office in the Baltimore-Washington geographical area while repairs to our SEA: Sisterhood Empowerment Academy on St. John, USVI are being completed. Our new telephone number is (833) 3-SISTER, (833) 374-7837 and we have a stateside mailing address in addition to our Virgin Islands location.
With efficient communications in place, Sisterhood Agenda is poised to provide much-needed services to our constituents including, but not limited to: schools, organizations, health agencies, and NGO's. Our stateside constituents are particularly excited about our new accessibility for training and resource-sharing.
Holistic health includes mental, physical, and spiritual readiness. A healthy sisterhood is an empowered sisterhood. SHE: Sisters, Healthy & Empowered training includes an activity guide review, teacher/mentor engagement strategies, and facilitator preparation for program implementation.
Sisterhood Agenda's training specifically prepares SHE program administrators for the realities that they face working with women and girls today. Trauma and stress are common experiences for today's young women. Obesity/overweight and its related negative health outcomes disproportionately affect girls of color.
Gaining knowledge, building resilience, positive peer support, and establishing a extensive support network are some of the goals of SHE: Sisters, Healthy & Empowered.
