At Sisterhood Agenda, we are in the process of compiling our data, activities, forms and other documents for our new SHE: Sisters, Healthy & Empowered book. It is an exciting development that will include specific health and wellness strategies. In addition, we will also include special sections on trauma and trauma-informed services, weight control and holistic well-being.
Sisterhood Agenda plans to share its SHE book with its global partners and make it available to the public. We hope that it will be well-received, as it has been a long time in the making.
Another SHE program: Sisterhood Agenda will include SHE activities in our SisterCamp summer enrichment program implementation, scheduled for implementation in the United States during the summer 2019 season.
Sisterhood Agenda has implemented SHE locally, nationally and internationally. It is designed to be standardized, yet locally adaptable to the specific needs of those whom it is designed to help. It can be used as both a prevention and intervention strategy, although we believe that, as with most things, prevention is best.
Thank you for supporting our SHE: Sisters, Healthy & Empowered initiatives!
Sincerely,
Angela D. Coleman
