SHE: Sisters Healthy & Empowered

Sisterhood Agenda is excited to share more information about our new PARKS eco-friendly community development project! Sisterhood Agenda’s PARKS site will offer support services in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area, for both local and national constituents.  Our direct support services, include, but are not limited to the SHE:  Sisters, Healthy & Empowered program.

In the meantime, we have had to push back the planned re-opening of our SEA:  Sisterhood Empowerment Academy on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands until Spring 2022 due to the COVID pandemic and its resurgence.

While we presented virtual and digital program options for girls, this format’s capacity to create the type of environment that we think is ideal for powerful change and lasting impact is limited. 

With SHE activities and other girl power programs, we strive for meaningful connection, sisterhood support, and transformation! 

Based on our experience (over twenty-five years!), we have found that in-person instruction, interaction, and group bonding is best.

Therefore...  we plan to have more SHE activities on St. John as soon as the facility reopens.  Members of our team are currently working diligently to secure additional resources for the program, including airfare and accommodations, for those who can travel to St. John until our Maryland program site is built. 

Having SHE activities on site on St. John is very exciting, as this is an ideal health and healing environment.  We have many great activities planned on this beautiful and unique island paradise!

Our Sisterhood Agenda team is moving forward with cautious enthusiasm, knowing that shifts in the pandemic will cause us to shift, too.  Adaptable and optimistic, we look forward to gathering again with girls all around the world (finally!) after our COVID hiatus.
