Sisterhood Agenda is excited to announce key SHE: Sisters, Healthy and Empowered activities scheduled for the new year 2023:
1. PARKS Holistic Housing
Sisterhood Agenda is building PARKS: Positively Affirming Reality and Knowledge in Sisterhood. This permaculture development of 22 eco-friendly apartment homes will highlight the power of green spaces for community support, health, and healing.
2. Soulful Sister Circle @ the SEA
Sisterhood Agenda will hold its Soulful Sister Circle at the SEA: Sisterhood Empowerment Academy on St. John in the U. S. Virgin Islands, with no passport required for U.S. residents.
Here, at our oceanfront oasis, we will gather to share, heal, and take a break to focus on our health and emotional well-being.
3. A Journey Toward Womanhood-video course and in-person
Sisterhood Agenda will implement the award-winning A Journey Toward Womanhood program in video format for girls and the training video course for administrators. We will also hold community meetings, information meetings, and registration sessions for in-person activities for teenage girls. Ages 12-16.
4. SisterCamp-Baltimore County
We are super excited about rebooting our SisterCamp program for girls ages 4-13 in August 2023 at our new location in Baltimore County, Maryland! Here, girls will come together for comprehensive summer enrichment activities that include a focus on sisterhood, wellness, positive mental health, theater, dance, drama, arts and crafts, technology and media, athletics, writing, cultural exposure, and more.
5. New holistic health publication
On April 4, 2023, Sisterhood Agenda Founder and President, Angela D. Coleman, will release her new book titled, The Art of Chilling Out for Women, 100+ Ways to Replace Worry and Stress with Spiritual Healing, Self-Care, and Self-Love, published by Adams Media | Simon & Schuster. It is designed to help women and girls of all ages.
6. Health and wellness articles on sisterhoodagenda.com
Sisterhood Agenda continues to focus on education, support and empowerment with health and healing articles on its website.
7. SHE training
In partnership with local and global partner agencies, Sisterhood Agenda will provide training for SHE therapeutics and empowerment services, youth strategies, and community development.
