Recruitment for Sisterhood Agenda's SHE: Sisters Healthy & Empowered program has begun and only a few spots remain! The SHE program is slated to begin March 26, 2016.
The teen girls program is a trauma-informed (TI) activity for girls ages 14-16. SHE demonstrates a shift toward a holistic and integrated systematic approach to youth development, mental health, and wellness.
Sisterhood Agenda promotes sisterhood among girls by supporting them in making healthy choices. SHE project staff implements evidence-based mentoring, self-development, fitness and life skills activities for 50 girls ages 12-17.
SHE activities include yoga, water sports, Sister Circles, mental health awareness, field trips and group fun. Program activities take place at the SEA: Sisterhood Empowerment Academy and at various beach locations throughout St. John, US. Virgin Islands.
The more we raise, the more girls we can serve. Sisterhood Agenda would also like to offer SHE program activities to girls who do not live on the island of St. John.
