Shiners Nursery school in Moshi, Kilimanjaro in Tanzania works with 30 children from ages 3-5 years. The school is in need of repair and renovations to make the space safe for the children to learn.
The conditions of nursery school are currently unsafe and not a conducive learning environment for the children. Without our help the school is at risk of closure. This project will help to ensure the school stays open as well as providing a healthy and safe environment for learning.
Renovations to the nursery school, including wall repairs and painting. Improve the look and facilities of the nursery school to increase the safety and learning environment.
Early Childhood Development is a key factor in the long term opportunities for children. We have already been working with the children on teaching literacy and English, as well as teacher training. We are needing these renovations to be able to continue the work we have started.
