Keeping Hope Alive,Uganda(KHA-UG) will involve and skill 600 disabled people in different income generating activities like Shoe making,Carpentry,Motorcycle and Bicycle repairing, beads making,Agriculture and stove making in Uganda.
With the already increasing and unending natural and supernatural beliefs on the Disabled People ,the same situation has forced many of them out of most entrepreneurship, economic and other Development activities that has left them to sink in extreme poverty since their potential in doing income generating activities is nor realised hence leaving many of them termed as bad omens and hence dependants on their own families.
Keeping Hope Alive,Uganda(KHA-UG) will involve and train disabled men and Women of different age brackets and groups in rural Uganda in specific income and marketable generating activities like shoe making,Stove making,Capentry,Agriculture and tailoring depending on one's ability and preference.
The project will educate 600 disabled people to be included in entrepreneurship and other Development activities giving them skills with ability to improve their income, self employment and self dependency thus improved standards of living.
