Today, we're excited to update you on the transformative impact of your donations.

• In 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hanin embarked on a journey to start her own environment friendly, social enterprise. While juggling two jobs and her studies at university, her life was a whirlwind of fast-paced challenges. However, her entrepreneurial spirit prevailed. When her initial business venture faced difficulties and failed, Hanin made the tough decision to quit her jobs and commit fully to her business. Today, thanks to her unwavering determination, hard work, and the support from Nawaya, Hanin's business is thriving. She's prviding healthy meals, prepared by women from rural areas, and packed in returnable glass jars.

• Ali, a young petro-chemical engineer, faced 1.5 years of job rejections and countless setbacks. Disheartened but not defeated, he enrolled in Nawaya's employment program. Just two days after applying to his dream company, he received news that he had advanced to the next stage of the selection process. Ali's newfound confidence, honed personal profile, job search skills, and enhanced interview and communication abilities are just some of the takeaways from the program.

• Marwa, a remarkable individual who survived a devastating car accident, emerged from a challenging six-month recovery period with an unwavering determination to improve her life. Investing in her technical and employment skills during her lowest moments, she turned her life around. Today, Marwa is interning at one of the leading TV stations in Lebanon while taking on side videography projects.

• Elie comes from an isolated village in Jezzine, faced limited opportunities and long commutes to university. He saw an opportunity in the tons of wasted apples in Lebanon each year. Elie's entrepreneurial spirit and hard work, supported by Nawaya's entrepreneurship program, have not only provided additional income for his family but also reduced food wastage in his hometown.

• Nour, despite a childhood filled with pain and bullying due to a physical disability, went on to start a small business in Baalbeck after overcoming years of treatment and a personal tragedy that affected her deeply. Nour collects Lebanese homemade provisions, or "mouneh", from women in her hometown and sells them through her business, all the while balancing competitive compensation for these women and profit for her business.
