Dear "Skilled and Educated Children for Better Bosnia" project' friends and donors,
The 'New Centar za odrzivi razvoj' project - Girls Explain: Physics - is currently underway. As a result of the project, young girls from different cities and ethnic groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to become female STEM role models in their schools, communities, and country.
Practical exercises conducted by girls and the promotion through the usage of new technologies, peer role models, are crucial in breaking the existing stereotypes of women in science, engineering, and technology. And that is exactly what we are planning to do with our project.
Young girls will create at least 30 videos explaining physics concepts from primary and secondary education curricula to their peers. The recorded physics video sessions, with young girls explaining physics concepts, will continue to serve as role models for other young girls in the future, as those videos will be available online on the most important educational website in Bosnia and Herzegovina - STEM.BA.
None of this would have been possible without the support of people like you. Centar za odrzivi razvoj (Center for Sustainable Development) continues to rely on donations to help fund our educational program.
Thank you so much!
