The project will provide employable skills to 150 critically Vulnerable girls aged15-25 years with Vocational training in Tailoring Fashion & Design, Saloon and Hair dressing and provide for them start up kits to secure employment and 10 caregiver Self Help groups will be formed, trained in financial education.
In Uganda, Adolescent girls experience poverty through gender inequalities that leave them with little or no formal education, powerless and vulnerable and no skills to attain decent jobs.These difficulties force them into lives of early marriages, commercial sex and low paid work denying them of their human rights.
The project will provide employment to 150 Vulnerable girls with Employment by Skill Development (Tailoring and Fashion Design, Saloon and Hair dressing) and provide start up tools so as to end the problem of unemployment and critically vulnerable youth get sustainable livelihoods.
The project will equip 150 girls with skills and start up kits allowing them to employ themselves, come out of poverty and and their families will have better health and social economic well being.
