The Skills Training for 300 Teenage Mothers project remains committed to empowering vulnerable young women through vocational education and economic empowerment. By providing practical skills and mentorship, the project is helping beneficiaries build sustainable livelihoods and improve their quality of life.
This reporting period saw continued participation in vocational training programs that focus on tailoring, baking, hairdressing, and entrepreneurship. Through hands-on instruction and practical experience, participants are developing competencies that can generate income and increase financial stability.
In addition to vocational training, beneficiaries attended life-skills workshops covering personal development, financial management, and business planning. These sessions are equipping participants with essential knowledge needed to successfully manage future enterprises and household finances.
The project has had a positive impact on participants' confidence and outlook. Many young mothers who previously felt discouraged now express hope and determination to pursue economic opportunities and support their children's wellbeing.
Strong community engagement has further contributed to project success. Local leaders and families continue to encourage beneficiaries and recognize the value of empowering teenage mothers through skills development.
As implementation continues, the project team will focus on strengthening mentorship support and preparing participants for post-training opportunities. We are grateful to our donors and partners whose generosity continues to create meaningful change. Your support is helping young mothers gain independence, achieve dignity, and build sustainable futures for themselves and their children.
