The Girl Child Foundation Uganda is seeking generous donor support to equip 300 young mothers with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods. Many young mothers in underserved communities have the determination to improve their lives but lack access to vocational training, start-up opportunities, and business knowledge.
Through this initiative, participants will receive hands-on training in shoe making, tailoring and sewing, hairdressing, baking and catering, soap making, beadwork, poultry keeping, and other small-scale enterprises. Entrepreneurship and financial literacy training will complement the vocational skills, helping mothers understand savings, budgeting, marketing, customer service, and business planning.
Our goal is to help young mothers transform their talents into sources of income while improving the wellbeing of their children. A trained mother can become an entrepreneur, create employment, and contribute to the development of her community.
We invite donors and well-wishers to invest in this life-changing opportunity. Your support can help a young mother move from vulnerability to confidence, productivity, and self-reliance.
