Challenge

Lack of skills training opportunities among women is a common issue. In this view, women are not employed or have no skills to work, are not able to take or make financial decisions ,since they are not independent and will have look up to their husbands for money in whatever they do or need to do.This has also been a hindrance of women contribution to the economic growth of the world and cause poverty in women.

Solution

Acquiring skills that are marketable and relevant in this era is very essential especially in women and young girls for poverty reduction, economic empowerment and sustainable development of livelihood. Most women are disadvantaged when it comes to employment, education, and work skills. Empowering them with the skills training can help them earn daily income and can enable them to support their families. Investment in women is a proven path to reduce poverty and to promote economic growth.

Long-Term Impact

This project aims to improve economic status of women and their families through skills training and preparing the to be entrepreneurs and independent. This will also contribute to the economic development of women and will increase their participate in decision making processes in their community as they work for themselves, employ others and train people in their community.
