Slipper Day 2023

Slipper Day is the foundations biggest annual campaign and most celebrated fundraiser. Slipper day is a day where we get to raise funds for our beautiful dreamers that are fighting life-threatening illness. You buy a R20 sticker that awards you a free coffee at Wimpy as well as being able to wear your slippers to work or school. Millions of South Africans stood together in support of this day and we were able to make the impossible possible.

On the 5th of May 2023 we rallied together and wore our slippers in support of Manifesting Hope. Through partnering with industry giants Wimpy, Dis-chem Pharmacies, Pick n Pay, Toyzone as well as Baby City, we were able to reach more South Africans like never before. This meant that more dreams were fulfilled. We met our goal of touching more lives and raised a whopping 6.5Million that went into making dreams come true.

Through slipper day the foundation inspires hope, strength and courage to our dreamers. We receive a lot of support from schools around South Africa, corporates and our retail partners play a huge role in making this campaign a huge success. It is through the R20 sticker that the foundation can make a difference in the hearts and minds of children fighting life-threatening illness.
