September 2024 - Family Memories at Disney of Promise
This September, we had a memorable planning for A-chan to her dream of Disney.
A-chan was diagnosed with a disease about a year ago and went through a long and arduous treatment. And her sister, who has also had to endure a lot in the face of her illness. The trip to Disney that we had promised to take together came true.
The tickets were a gift from her grandfather. We entered Disney Sea, which we had longed for, talking, “I'm sure Grandpa in the sky is here with us today.”
The main thing was to ride the Rapunzel attraction at the new Fantasy Springs area. The little sisters rubbed their sleepy eyes and worked hard to get in line early in the morning to enter the new area, and we were able to get standby passes without incident.
We decided to enjoy shopping and attractions until it was time to enter the new area. They wrote down the places they wanted to go and the things they wanted to do on their bookmarks, so we checked them together and decided on a schedule.
Since each of us is the star of the day, we sometimes go our separate ways so that each of us can enjoy the day.
We tell each other our impressions of the day later, and it's a fun way to spend time together!
The mother says it was a happy day for her to see her children's smiling faces as they watched their favorite Duffy show, ate a meal, and had their commemorative photo taken together. She said she could not have imagined such a day a year ago.
I was able to be a part of such a family day, and I have more precious memories to cherish.
