Project Report 4 (June to September 2025)
Overview
From June to September 2025, Japan Heart’s Smile Smile Project (SSP) continued to bring hope and smiles to children with cancer and their families. Each story is unique, yet all share the same message: that even in the face of illness, children’s dreams shine brightly when given the chance to come true.
Key Updates & Achievements
A-chan visited Adventure World to meet her favorite pandas. The carefully coordinated trip ensured her safety despite ongoing chemotherapy. Her laughter and joy created unforgettable memories for her and her family.
Yuto-kun, a previous SSP participant, shared his dream of giving back to children with pediatric cancer. His story demonstrates the lasting impact of support and the ripple effect of kindness.
Nursing student and SSP supporter Y.T. accompanied A-kun on his first KidZania visit. A-kun enjoyed various roles, and his father’s words “I hope he realizes there were people who cared this much about him” left a lasting impression. Yuki reaffirmed her desire to give her best for others and hopes to contribute to SSP as a nurse in the future.
