In Lalitpur Metropolitan City itself, there are not less than 7,000 dogs in 29 wards. We receive between 5 to 10 dog's treatment call every day via phone calls and emails. We cannot reach all the calls and help them because of lacking resources. It takes us at least 5 to 6 hours or sometime the next day to reach the spot as our team is most of the time helping the dogs in different areas. Our target is to reach the needy dog on time and start the treatment so that we can save each life.
We have many stary dogs in Nepal as well as other animals like Cows are abandoned in the street. The government does not have any plan to support them. Hence we are helping these stray animals in need with the treatment, rehoming, shelter care & lobbying with the government to introduce animal welfare act in Nepal.
If the money we asked for will raise, we can support these neddy animals with treatment and care.
This project will help us controlling the stray dogs' population so that these dogs do not face any torture or abuse by humans.
