Soap Making for Health & Income in Rural Schools

Our sincere gratitude goes to all supporters and the GlobalGiving team for helping us create opportunities for vulnerable children. The $126 received has enabled us to organize practical soap-making training sessions for school children, young mothers, and community members.

Participants learned how to produce liquid and solid soap using locally available materials. The project provided ingredients, containers, and training materials, ensuring hands-on participation. Through these activities, trainees developed skills in production, teamwork, and entrepreneurship.

The soap produced during training was distributed to 20 households, improving hygiene and reducing household expenses. We are excited to see participants applying their new skills to support their families and communities.

We are pleased to provide an update on the achievements of our soap-making project, made possible through the generosity of our supporters and the GlobalGiving community. The $126 received has allowed us to train school children, young mothers, and local residents in practical soap production skills.

The project purchased all required ingredients and training materials, ensuring that participants could gain practical experience from start to finish.

The project is also helping to establish a culture of saving and entrepreneurship through the children's SACCO.
