Soap making for Health and Income in schools
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
On behalf of Good Cause Foundation, we would like to thank our generous supporters and the GlobalGiving team for helping us empower children and communities through practical skills development. The $126 raised so far has enabled us to successfully conduct soap-making training for children, young mothers, and community members.
The training focused on producing quality liquid and solid soap using affordable, locally available materials. Participants gained valuable hands-on experience while learning how to maintain product quality and market their products effectively. The project also provided all necessary materials to ensure successful training and production.
As a result, soap products were distributed to 20 households, helping families improve hygiene and reduce household spending on cleaning products. The project has also sparked interest among participants in starting small businesses that can generate sustainable income.
Your support is helping create healthier communities while building entrepreneurial skills among young people. We kindly ask for your continued partnership as we work to grow the children's SACCO and expand the reach of this life-changing initiative.

Soap making for Health and Income in schools
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
We are delighted to share the continued progress of our School Children Soap Making Project. We extend our sincere appreciation to our donors and the GlobalGiving team for their unwavering support. Through the $126 received so far, we have been able to train school children, young mothers, and community members in the production of liquid and solid soap.
The funds were used to purchase ingredients, measuring equipment, containers, and training materials. Participants attended practical sessions where they learned soap production techniques, hygiene promotion, product packaging, and basic entrepreneurship skills. The training not only increased knowledge but also encouraged creativity and teamwork among the participants.
The soap produced during the training was distributed to 20 households, where families are now using the products to improve hygiene and sanitation. Some participants have already begun exploring opportunities to produce soap for sale within their communities.
We are grateful for the impact your support is making. With continued assistance, we hope to expand the project, reach more beneficiaries, and strengthen the children's SACCO to support vulnerable learners with educational needs and future opportunities. :::

Soap making for Health and income in rural school
By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our School Children Soap Making Project continues to transform lives through skills development and entrepreneurship. The $126 raised through GlobalGiving has allowed us to organize training activities that benefit children, young mothers, and community members.
During this reporting period, participants received practical instruction on producing both liquid and solid soap using affordable, locally available materials. The project purchased all necessary supplies, ensuring that every trainee had an opportunity to participate fully in the learning process.
The soap produced during training was distributed to 20 vulnerable households, providing families with access to affordable hygiene products and promoting better sanitation practices. Community members have expressed appreciation for the initiative and have shown increased interest in learning vocational skills that can generate income.
In addition to improving hygiene, the project is laying the foundation for a student-led SACCO that will help vulnerable children access school requirements and educational opportunities. We sincerely thank our supporters for believing in our mission and helping us create sustainable change within our community.
