After 7 months in the transition as a Center, the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) has now completed 75 percent of its targets and has formally transformed its initiatives in areas of formation, social enterprise development, internship, volunteerism, advocacy, internationalization, and curricular efforts as online contents/services to the Lasallian community and its internal and external partners.
Last April 30, in celebration of its 5th year anniversary, LSEED Center launched its engagement primer and newsletter. The primer contains a comprehensive overview of the Center and its programs, as well as the menu of engagements for the Lasallian community. On other hand, the newsletter features the inspiring stories of Lasallian social entrepreneurs, partners, and other stakeholders.
The back-to-back webinar series of LSEED and #WeCAN Talks are now on its second and first seasons, respectively. LSEED Talks now features social enterprise enablers while #WeCAN Talks showcases the efforts of the member universities of #WeCAN, a regional network which was an outcome of LSEED Center's international boot camp in 2019.
At present, LSEED Center implements 32 initiatives under 6 programs and is now operating in both Manila and Laguna campuses.
