As part of its commitment to build and sustain social enterprises in partnership with marginalized communities, the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center has recently developed three new programs in area of social enterprise development. These programs are called Angat Buhay Young Social Entrepreneurs Program, KAagapay sa Yugto-yugto at Abot-kayang Negosyo (KAYA) Project, and Social Enterprise Development for Student Organizations (SEDSO). The first two are national programs while the last one is a university-based initiative.
ABY SEP is a one-year social enterprise development program that aims to train aspiring young social entrepreneurs in the country to develop sustainable and impact-driven social enterprises. ABY SEP also provides funding and mentoring support to twelve (12) social enterprises teams through a comprehensive fellowship and training program.
KAYA Project is a local economic development project of the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center. It primarily endeavours to provide sustainable income generating and entrepreneurial initiatives, focusing on the mobility and livelihood of selected communities in Metro Manila and Laguna. The project supports 25 community-based organizations/social enterprises or around 125 social entrepreneurs.
SEDSO Program is a social enterprise program for student organizations. The program provides a combined mentorship and social enterprise development experience for Lasallian student leaders by allowing them to create social enterprise projects with select community partners.
At present, LSEED Center also implements LSEED Online Mentoring, an initiative to support the over 50 social enterprises under its porftolio through regular mentoring and coaching sessions.
