The Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center has expanded its program stakeholders particularly in the areas of curriculum and social enterprise development. Its curricular offerings in partnership with academic units are now made accessible to around 4500 students per academic year. Building from the successful implementation of several SE development programs, the Center has announced its incubation and acceleration efforts through the SIBOL Program which will be launched on April 24, 2024 during the Center's anniversary celebration. This makes LSEED Center the first in the country to implement a full-cycle program from formation to acceleration.
At present, completion, retention, and pilot success rates of 3 major social enterprise development programs is 100 %. Income generating as of February 2024 under 2 major programs is 85 %. Likewise, the batch 2 of the Social Enterprise Development for Student Organization (SEDSO) Program has already started in coordination with student affairs and Lasallian mission/social engagement offices. Monitoring with mentoring sessions (hybrid) is also sustained for the first 2 terms of AY 2023-2024.
As the Center celebrates its 8th anniversary, the message of bringing Lasallian social entrepreneurship closer to its stakeholders as part of the community’s mission is highlighted. The Center celebrates the contributions of its partners in localizing SDG and transforming communities through social entrepreneurship.
