As part of its commitment to sustain the growth of social enterprises under its portfolio and in order to formally begin a full-cycle program (curricular to acceleration), the Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development (LSEED) Center launched the Social Enterprise Incubation and Acceleration for Opportunity Leadership (SIBOL). The formal launch was held during the 8th anniversary of the Center on April 24, 2024 at De La Salle University.
The SIBOL Program follows a comprehensive and holistic incubation and acceleration design with 4-5 phases, which include:
In its 8th year, the Center reported that it has already involved over 15,000 stakeholders across 12 programs and 35 initiatives local and international partnership with over 100 universities & organizations. An independent external evaluation result of LSEED Center based on the criteria of criteria developed for Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) is Highly Satisfactory (Highest) in 5 areas.
Likewise, the Center is also working on institutionalizing social entrepreneurship among Lasallian schools in the Philippines.
