The Lasallian Social Enterprise for Economic Development Center highlighted its key milestones in terms of the number of engaged stakeholders and programs implemented
Through its formation and social enterprise development programs, the Center engaged 237 students, including members from four student organizations: DLSU SCALE, Hult Prize at DLSU, CEO at DLSU, and ArCG. Additionally, 128 community partners and three faculty members participated in the Formation and SE Development Program. Four major projects were implemented: LIVP Batch 17, SEDSO, KAYA Programs, and LSEED Mentoring Sessions.
The Center’s curricular initiatives engaged 809 students in Term 2, AY 2025-2026, with 594 enrolled in SAS 2000 and 215 in NSTP-LSEED. The LSEED Center facilitated eleven SAS2000 module sessions: five on Lasallian Social Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking (LSEDT) and six on Circular Economy and Social Innovation (CESI), all held at the DLSU Manila campus. Each session accommodated up to 60 students through open registration and ran from 28 January to 5 March 2026. The Center likewise expanded its reach by integrating social innovation modules across various collegiate units, supported by multidisciplinary collaboration with stakeholders from the different colleges.
The curriculum was delivered through intensive face-to-face sessions, each lasting 180 minutes to ensure thorough coverage of program requirements and in-depth exploration of social entrepreneurship frameworks. The Center organized eleven NSTPCW1-LSEED classes as part of a broader 28-session curriculum on social innovation and sustainable enterprise. A total of 215 students (153 males and 62 females) participated, with seven SELs facilitating the modules.
Lastly, under its incubation and acceleration portfolio, the Center implemented several initiatives. These included training on liquid dishwashing formulation in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology - National Capital Region and the Department of Science and Technology - Industrial Technology Development Institute, the LSEED SE Marketplace, the Lasallian Social Entrepreneurship Talks: Showcasing Social Enterprises and Entrepreneurs (LETS SEE), and Social Enterprise Profiling.
It is worth noting that in its 10th year, the LSEED Center has incubated/developed a total of 110 social enterprises, student groups, and organizations with over 535 social entrepreneurs/leaders. It engaged over 20000 individuals across 12 programs regionally.
