Social Housing for struggling women in Milan

Dear Donors,

with this updating report we would like to share with all of you really good news about the project and about all the activities that have been implemented during these last three months.

We are really happy to announce that since January our partner Tuendelee Foundation can count on two new volunteers that will be fundamental in order to support all the mothers and children hosted: they will be part of the activity of “family volunteering” and will help the children with their school homework during the afternoons. These two young women have decided to donate their time and capacities for the project!

Once a month the Foundation organizes special ethnic dinners where all the mothers hosted are involved: every woman can cook a special dish from her country. These moments are really important because allow to share cultures, customs and traditions with the Italian population in order to improve a more multicultural exchange and awareness. Moreover, these events make all the mothers feel part of a wider local community.

In addition, exactly 20 years ago Tuendelee Foundation was born and this year it celebrates its anniversary. The Foundation, in partnership with Aleimar, is organizing community events aimed at increasing the visibility of the project in Milan, in Italy and abroad. Tuendelee Foundation has also received a special prize from the mayor of the city for all the activities carried out in the last 20 years.

With all this good news we would like to thank all the people that decide to support this project in favor of vulnerable women and children in Milan!
