Dear Donors,

We have great news to share with you! Tuendelee Foundation has seen the expansion of a family unit hosted at the accommodation in Melzo (MI) because a lovely little girl was born. Thanks to the support of our partner, her mother will be assisted and accompanied by professional educators in her daughter's growth path, guaranteeing them a home to live in, economic and psychological aid and integration into the local community.

Furthermore, renovation, maintenance and painting work have been carried out in many apartments. In this way, hosted families will be able to live in increasingly welcoming places to meet their everyday needs. We are also happy to announce that Tuendelee Home has welcomed and will support two new family units: one composed of a mother and her little girl and another consisting of a mother with three daughters and her grandmother. We wish the best of luck to these new families and a future full of hope!

In recent months, various initiatives have been organized. In collaboration with the association Campo dei Sogni and the Itinera project, children hosted at Tuendelee Home have created a vegetable garden at Mascagni Park, in this way they are made aware of the love for greenery, animals and nature. The experience in the garden is a gift of play and joy, a place to learn emotions that make them strong, free, calm and independent. Furthermore, an event entitled Beyond the Eyes, inside the Body was held on the topic of violence against women. Through this initiative, a cultural and sensorial exhibition on the stories of violence against women was created to raise awareness among citizens. From an exhibition of clothes to voices and videos of women who tell stories, to "talking objects" and much more: an interactive and inclusive journey structured in different frameworks to directly experience everything that is not seen or heard in the stories of violence.

Because of the summer holidays, Tuendelee Home will host children and teenagers by organizing various activities such as cooking and tailoring workshops.

Thank you for continuing to believe in our work!
