Fostering Community Bonds: Summer Activities and New Beginnings at Tuendelee Home

Dear Donors,

Over the summer, Tuendelee Foundation enthusiastically continued its activities to support the families of Melzo who are most in difficulty from an economic and social point of view. Within Tuendelee Home, the Foundation offered cooking and sewing courses, creating practical learning opportunities for adults and children. In addition, pleasant moments of reading were organized in the park, involving the most fragile and vulnerable of the community. These meetings represented an opportunity to share stories, and emotions, strengthening the sense of community and inclusion.

Moreover, during the summer, Foundation Tuendelee successfully concluded the path of a mother-child unit within the social housing project, which achieved autonomy and began a new phase of their life with greater independence. At the same time, we were happy to welcome another family unit made up of a mother with two children, who, however, was discharged at the beginning of September following a change of project. Currently, one family is waiting for a housing assignment from the municipality, and we are confident they will soon receive a positive response. Another family has already obtained a new house and is completing the move to the Municipality of Pioltello. These results demonstrate our constant commitment to accompanying families toward greater autonomy and stability.

In the meantime, we are working hard to extend our network of collaborations in the area. In particular, together with Aleimar, we are starting new projects with other local organizations. We aim to expand the range of services for the most vulnerable families. Among new initiatives, we plan to activate a homework space for children and teenagers and organize thematic meetings for parents to provide concrete and continuous support to those who need it most.

Finally, we are happy to announce that our community dinners and events will resume soon. These moments of conviviality and sharing are essential to strengthening bonds between people and creating a space of aggregation where everyone feels welcomed and valued.

Thanks to your constant support, we can continue to carry out initiatives that have a positive and lasting impact on the lives of many families.
