New Beginnings: Progress and Achievements from Our Housing Projects

Dear Friends,
With this update report about our social housing project in Tuendelee Foundation, we are delighted to share some important progress and achievements from the past four months (from July to October).

During summer and up to today, our housing projects have seen significant and encouraging developments.

 Co-Homing Project:

  • In August, a family of six people successfully obtained a municipal home and moved in — a wonderful milestone for them. For this reason, Tuendelee Foundation had been able to welcome two new families: a mother with three children and a mother with a baby.
  • In September, another mother and her child returned to her hometown. After repainting the apartment with the help of the volunteers, Tuendelee Foundation welcomed a pregnant mother with her daughter.

External Apartments (in the province of Milan):
Tuendelee Foundation hosted a young mother with her little girl, a family with two children, and a couple with a newborn baby. One of the longest-resident families, after almost three years, has recently been assigned a home — a truly positive achievement.

Other Projects:

  • In June, the Foundation collaborated with "Milagro" (a social cooperative that works in order to involve children, families in building inclusive living environments) to organize a cooking day with the children from their summer program.
  • The "Homework Activity" ended in the afternoons of May and restarted in October, continuing tutoring activities for primary and secondaary school students, as well as creative workshops for teenagers.
  • A new football workshop has also been launched, with excellent participation and enthusiasm.

Finally, several mothers took part in the "art therapy project", which ended with a collective exhibition in June — a meaningful moment of expression and growth.

Thanks to your support, all these achievements have been possible. Together, we are building not just homes, but new beginnings — creating opportunities for vulnerable women and children to grow, dream, and thrive.

Thank you!
