HIV Risk Behaviors Still Driving New Infections

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank the donors who have supported the Social Media Video Skits on HIV/AIDS Awareness project. Your support reflects concern for public health and the need to address harmful practices. However, the donations received so far are still not enough to begin production and promotion of the planned video skits.

Across many communities, misinformation and unsafe practices continue to increase the risk of HIV transmission. Some individuals stop taking their medication, while others act out of frustration without understanding the consequences. Many people also rely on incorrect information, which affects their health decisions.

Without clear and relatable awareness messages, these behaviors continue, placing more people at risk. There is a strong need for simple, engaging content that people can understand and relate to in their daily lives.

This project is designed to produce three short video skits based on real-life situations. These videos will be shared across social media platforms to reach a wide audience, helping people understand the importance of safe practices and consistent treatment.

With the right support, these skits can influence behavior, encourage responsible choices, and promote open conversations about HIV.

We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin production and reach those who need this information.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
