Over the past few months, we’ve reached a major milestone: the Social Play game is now finalized!
Designed as a fun and interactive tool to introduce girls to digital skills, critical thinking, and teamwork, the game was co-created with young girls and improved through multiple reallife testing phases.
We had the opportunity to run pilot sessions in various communities, including in Zerkten, Sidi Ifni, and Tangier, where girls aged 8 to 18 engaged enthusiastically with the game. Their feedback was essential in refining the content and structure, ensuring it speaks to their realities, aspirations, and challenges. Employees from several multinational partner organizations also joined the test sessions, providing another layer of perspective and support to the initiative.
A major highlight: we officially announced the launch of the Social Play game at GITEX Africa, one of the continent’s leading tech events, and hosted a live testing session on site. The energy and excitement around the game confirmed its potential to become a powerful tool for engagement and learning.
What’s next? The game is now ready to be rolled out across schools, youth events, and during our annual eSTEAM Festival.
With your support, we can bring this experience to even more girls, helping them learn, grow, and believe in their ability to shape their future through play.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
