Solar and Restoration for St. Patrick's Church
The Dawood Global Foundation is pleased to share the progress of our project “Solar and Restoration for St. Patrick's Church”, made possible through the generosity of our donors. As part of this initiative, solar panels have been installed to provide clean and sustainable energy to one of Karachi’s most historic and cherished places of worship. In addition, essential restoration work was carried out to improve the structure and enhance the surrounding environment, helping preserve the church’s heritage while making the space safer and more welcoming for the community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our donors whose support has made this meaningful transformation possible. Their generosity continues to inspire positive change and sustainable solutions for communities in need. We warmly invite the GlobalGiving community and compassionate supporters around the world to continue supporting our efforts so we can expand renewable energy solutions and further restoration work in the next phase. Solar and Restoration for St. Patrick's Church
From Dawood Global Foundation
Thanks to the generous support of GlobalGiving and our incredible donors, Dawood Global Foundation has successfully completed the solarization and partial restoration of St. Patrick’s Church, one of Karachi’s most iconic and historic landmarks. Solar panels have been installed to provide sustainable and uninterrupted energy, reducing electricity costs and environmental impact.
Additionally, restoration efforts focused on essential structural repairs and beautification, preserving the church’s heritage while making it safer and more welcoming for the community. This transformation would not have been possible without your continued generosity and belief in our mission. We invite you to stay involved by sharing this project, helping us raise awareness, and considering further support as we plan Phase 2 of the restoration, which includes expanded solar capacity and restoration of the adjoining community hall. Together, we are lighting the way, both literally and spiritually for generations to come.
