initial solar installation has helped towards our sustainability goals. But we still have a long way to go to minimize our daily operating electric costs. Your donation goes towards expanding the number of solar panels and decreasing our out-of-pocket expense.
Every bit we can save means medicine will be available and more people can be served.
We hope to become completely independent from the electric grid in the future. Looking at the attached figure, you can see we were without electricity for almost four hours this morning. This means all our computers as well as lab equipment are nonfunctional. The computers are used to view patient history and collect and communicate patient information to the Ministry of Health’s patient information system. Power outages cripple operation.
