Thank you for being part of our journey to bring sustainable power to the Kudvumisa Clinic and skills center. So far, we have successfully raised $6,006 from 121 generous donations toward our $25,000 goal. However, we still need more support. As you know, our organization provides essential medical services to hundreds of people in and around Maphiveni. We strive to deliver accessible healthcare to vulnerable populations and run economic empowerment projects from our facility. However, maintaining our operations and serving these communities requires reliable and consistent electricity.

When we began this project, our goal was to reduce operational costs through solar power. This would allow us to redirect funds from electricity bills into patient care, community outreach, and furthering our mission of accessible and equitable healthcare. Unfortunately, our current solar panels do not fully power our facility, and we still incur significant electricity bills averaging between 5,000 and 6,000 emalangeni monthly. Rising costs only exacerbate this financial strain. Additionally, frequent and unpredictable power cuts severely impact our efficiency and the quality of care we provide.

A complete transition to robust solar power is the only sustainable solution to these challenges. This will ensure uninterrupted care by keeping critical medical equipment powered and the lights on during outages. It will maintain the integrity of our medicines and allow our economic development initiatives to function without disruption. Moreover, it will improve operational efficiency by significantly reducing our reliance on expensive grid electricity, freeing up vital funds for core healthcare programs and direct patient impact.

Your continued support is appreciated and extremely crucial. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to achieving a fully solar-powered facility, where uninterrupted care is always possible. Please consider donating and sharing our project with your friends, family, and networks. Thank you!
