Each day people begin queuing at Kudvumisa’s offices. The offices were never meant to see patients. But Kudvumisa staff and nurses still see everyone that comes by.
As final preparations begin for the renovation of the clinic, we look for ways to meet the health needs of those in this isolated and impoverished area. Our nurses work tirelessly to provide compassionate and quality care. As costs escalate, the hope of replacing all outside electrical costs means more funds can be used on medications and supplies. The government only supplies supplies and drugs for HIV patients. Everything else must be procured through costly commercial suppliers. Anywhere we can cut costs means better and more services can be provided to Kudvumisa clients.
Please consider our plea to be able to complete the solar installation as the clinic comes on line. Hundreds of people who have received life saving care for HIV now can receive whole health care from this local clinic.
