Solar Lights Project: Work in progress

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for the donation recieved. Although the project is yet to start, we have already made all the necessary arrangements. A letter of recommendation has been written to the Federal Ministry of Health through the Honourable Minister, and once this approval is received, the project will be carried out without delay.

This step is very important for smooth implementation. When we previously attempted to carry out a school project, the school authority requested an authorization letter from the education board. To avoid such issues here, we are following due process with the Ministry of Health. This will ensure that the project runs without disruption and reaches the mothers who need it most.

Your donations will make it possible to provide solar lights that will allow safe nighttime deliveries in underserved areas. Without proper lighting, midwives and health workers face serious challenges in attending to pregnant women at night, and mothers risk complications during delivery. With solar lights, both mothers and babies will have a safer experience.

We thank you once again, dear donors. You have done well by believing in this project and giving towards it. Our next report will come with photos and detailed updates once implementation begins.

Warm regards,
Kadiri, Ugbede-Ojo Dominic
Project Leader
