Yemen reported its first COVID-19 case , the pandemic will most likely expose disturbing weaknesses in health infrastructures. the health system unable to respond ,let alone COVID19 pandemic, the Yemen burdened by the war burdens and whose 80% of the population lives in famine and extreme poverty, the disadvantaged and vulnerable groups will suffer the greatest impact in Yemen. COVID-19 pandemic may leave hundreds of thousands of deaths in light of the lack of the simplest medical capabilities.
The arrival of the coronavirus which has shocked the world's largest economies, will be catastrophic in Yemen. the weak health system and social norms that encourage close contact and social gatherings are among the factors that would make the spread of this virus explosive in Yemen. The families have no money to survive, they need commodities like ration, medicines and daily hygiene products already difficult to access, 80% of the population lives in famine and extreme poverty.
Mobilizing humanity solidarity to save life through Provide basic protective supplies such as masks ,sterilizers gloves to protect lives of People from the coronavirus and provide supplies for senior citizens, hygiene kits for women and girls, medicines and basic family support to individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet. Conduct extensive awareness-raising campaigns, train teams of volunteers and provide them with protection tools, and deliver daily food to poor families.
The project will have an impact in reducing the number of infections from the Corona virus, and will enhance social solidarity between people. This project will create a kind of human solidarity between Yemeni society and donors from countries of the world, because the issue is one and suffering is one. The humanity, solidarity and generosity of people and organizations everywhere is also unprecedented in faced a crisis like COVID-19.
