Our organization, needs open its headquarters in the city of La Paz, B.C.S. Mexico, and mantain it in permanent operation. Thus achieving greater impact in promoting restore and sustainable management of forests in the Baja California's Peninsula, some islands and in the Mexican territory. Through procuring and channeling international funds for the restoration and sustainable management of forests. Recognizing these ecosystems, as the most effective natural solutions to combat climate change.
Global warming is increase in the temperature of the planet's atmosphere. This happens for the increasing of the amount of emissions into the atmosphere, which causes an high sotorage of greenhouse gases that accumulate in the atmosphere, and it's generated mainly by industrial and productive activities, the internal combustion vehicles that operate on the planet in addition to forest fires. The main gas is CO2, its concentration and increase, are the cause that our planet is gradually most warm.
Scientific studies have shown that trees and forests, have the greatest capacity to absorb greenhouse gases, are considered the lungs of the planet and the plant organisms that integrate them, act as efficient organisms that absorb greenhouse gases helping to purify the atmosphere. Based on global warming trends, scientific recommendations urgently demand the restoration and sustainable management of forests, as the most viable and efficient natural solution to stop and reverse climate change.
Permanent procurement of funds, for the restoration and sustainable management of the forests of the peninsula of Baja California, its Islands and the Mexican territory, will allow in the long term to increase the sequestration and the avoided amount of greenhouse gas emissions, obtained this through the works and activities of restoration and sustainable management of forests and terrestrial ecosystems. Taking action for the planet and the universal principle of the right to healthy environment
