How could Brazil grow and deliver a better standard of living to its citizens if education as a whole is so far behind? Your support will help to change this cruel reality for 150 students by helping them to become passionate about reading. Let's help them to write a better ending for their life stories.

What kind of future will the current generation of students have if nothing is done? This project will help 150 poor students to write a different story for themselves.
Reading is key for learning. If one doesn't read one's ability to learn and improve one's life is very limited. By sowing seeds of literacy among poor students in Brazil YOU will be giving them a real chance to have a better future. You will be helping all 150 students at the school Tia Nenzinha -- in Vila Velha, Espirito Santo State -- not only to read more, but to fall in love with reading! It's a poor neighbourhood suffering from violence and drug related crimes. Let's rewrite this story!
The project will help 150 students and their families to see reading as a wonderful everyday habit and a tool to thrive. Those kids are going to fall in love with reading, helping them to learn more, to ask more questions and to understand the world around them way better. A better education will broad their job choices, allowing for more chances to find better paying and fulfilling work positions. All 150 families will also benefit from the sowed seeds of literacy. Books change lives.
