Educating & Trapping
We are so proud to share that despite COVID-19 we did more spay and neuters than we have ever done in a year...
2602 total surgeries - that was 1736 dogs + 866 cats
This wouldn't have been possible without all of your support through these hard times. THANK YOU!
We are working hard for 2021 and just in January Baark! 'fixed' 267 dogs and cats.
GENERAL UPDATE:
Other Baark! volunteers are out all over Nassau, collecting dogs and cats and taking them to the local vets to be fixed. We are still giving out food to those who need it and also handing out our colouring books to kids in the community.
DUMP UPDATE:
One of our main volunteers was tackling a big straybusting case at the government dump.
As of the end of January, 41 dogs were fixed and returned to the dump. They were not social enough to be adopted but they do have a strong food source, and 21 pups were rescued from the dump and placed in foster care.
UPCOMING:
Baark! is headed to Eleuthera to do our first MASH clinic since Dorian + COVID-19 hit. On March 12-14 we will be in Hatchet Bay, and the following weekend on March 19 - 21 we will be in Governor's Harbour. Stay tuned for the next report and update on Eleuthera.
Thank you for your continued support, we couldn't do this without you.
