Its me again Diya from Rescue Junction with an important update.
May I wish you all the best for the festive season. We have been as busy as usual here at the Junction.
A recent newspaper article which was posted on our Facebook page confirmed we are the busiest district in Bihar for child trafficking. The article was entitled Bihar’s child bazaar: 2,000 kids trafficked annually, and was published by the Asian Age. All children rescued in Gaya both boys and girls will come to Rescue Junction for protection and care.
Sometimes I know it is difficult sometimes given the scale of human suffering to feel there is little a person can do to make a difference. I want to tell you that your donations can and do directly help children who are victims of trafficking and abuse. This appeal which helps fund our special work amongst girls is really important in helping us save lives and restore humanity in the lives of whom it has been stolen.

The trafficking of children is of course a crime against humanity and I want you all to know that here we are working so hard not only to rescue children, but to safeguard future generations by aggressively pursuing in close cooperation with law enforcement agencies those who would do them harm.
And it is making a difference, it is not going to happen overnight but inch by inch, one child at at a time, we will never cease in our endeavours with your support, to continue to both make children's futures better, but also help prevent them falling into the wicked embrace of these evil doers .
