10 Girls Awarded SS1-SS3 Scholarships

10 Girl Students Awarded Scholarships
10 Girl Students Awarded Scholarships

Dear Donor,

Thank you for making this scholarship programme possible. Your generous support has given 10 girls from Government Secondary School (GSS) Karshi, Abuja, the opportunity to continue their education from Senior Secondary School One (SS1) through Senior Secondary School Three (SS3). Your kindness is helping remove financial barriers that could have prevented these students from completing their secondary education.

Many families in our communities are struggling with the rising cost of education. School fees, learning materials, uniforms, and other expenses can force girls to miss classes or leave school entirely. Without support, many bright students face the risk of dropping out, limiting their future opportunities.

With your donation, Equitable Medicaid and Clinical Research awarded scholarships to 10 deserving girls selected in partnership with the management of Government Secondary School Karshi. The beneficiaries were chosen based on financial need and their commitment to education. The scholarships will support them throughout their remaining years of secondary school, giving them greater confidence to focus on learning and achieving their goals.

During the scholarship presentation, members of our team encouraged the students to remain dedicated to their studies, uphold good values, and work hard toward building successful futures. The girls expressed their excitement and gratitude, while teachers and school administrators thanked you for investing in the education of young girls who might otherwise have struggled to remain in school.

Your support goes far beyond paying educational expenses. It gives these girls hope, stability, and the confidence to dream bigger. Keeping them in school also reduces the risk of early marriage, child labour, exploitation, and other challenges that affect many vulnerable girls.

Thank you for believing in the power of education. Your generosity is changing lives in meaningful ways, and we look forward to sharing the progress and achievements of these 10 girls as they advance from SS1 to SS3.

Warm regards!
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
